I looked at a Cobalt SS/SC and at just about 6 foot my head was touching the headliner... I found the seat didnt go down far enough. I wasn't comfortable let alone did I feel safe.....

I agree with Darrel with the insurance aspect of the three cars. Those new cars are going to have higher rates for full coverage than the SSEi. Plus, I think the Cobalt is too small also (but that'* from a guy who is 6'6')

well seems like I am late to the post. i completely agree with the others even though I am not a bonneville diehard the cobalt and the saturn are well new. I hate getting new cars and you got to think what will you be able to realistically afford if your parents were to not hold up their end of the deal and you be left holding the bag. if it were me I would get the 95 ssei. You could use the money that you would be spending for the higher payments on the cobalt and mod the 95 little at a time. you would have a faster car in the end. there is no replacement for displacement remeber that

Mr. Gojo here brings up a good point!

My parents agreed to pay half on the Bonneville, but never did because they didn't sell the GMC, which was not in the terms. They said that they'd pay it regardless, so I don't know what to believe... I'm going to test drive the Colbalt and another car that I really don't want to talk about for fear of putting my manhood at risk I'll tell you my findings in a few hours
