Need an opinion
Alright, I'm still up in the air with a few things. My parents want me to get another car and sell my current one, so I've been sorta-shopping, and I've come up with a few options:
1) Go with this '95 SSEi I've been looking at with a rebuilt tranny and a NICE interior. Oh yeah, NO issues (besides, of course, ELC), which is awesome. 2) Go with a new car. Now, one might think that there's a price difference, BUT my parents have agreed to pay half of the monthly payment. So, I'm thinking about two cars. The Cobalt SS non-supercharged or a Saturn quad-coupe 2.4 (I know, same car, lol). So, if you guys could give me some opinions... awesome. Consider gas mileage, reliability, safety, speed, and price :-D |
'95 SSEi. 8)

Cobalt is too small.

if you go with the second option i would go for the saturn over the chevy. the composite body panels are a big plus.

You need a cheap reliable car for the next few years, I'd get the Cobalt.
The Bonne can wait till your on your own and ready to spend a few more $$. |
I would just say SSEi simply for its proven safety, reliability, and excellent drivability. Since I don't know a *whole lot* about the Cobalt, I really can't put out a major judgement, but you always gotta remember that if you ever need help or support with the SS, you can go find another forum to help you out, or you can stick with the car you already are comfortable with and are familiar with, not to mention being fully backed by a buncha nutcases who spend too much time on their computers. :P

id go with the saturn, the door panels are a huge plus, loved them on our old l200

If you want a plastic Saturn, you better get it soon!! Saturn has already pulled the Vue and Ion out of production and all thats left is what is on the dealer lots.
