canon are the best.. I made a mistake 2 years ago by getting a minolta :( its a piece of crap..

Nice. I almost splurged on an on-sale Olympus totally spur-of-the-moment when I was shopping for my Canon A75... did some research (dpreview), and I was glad that I did... The Canon was my original choice; the Olympus reviews weren't very good.

But of course, this was a year ago and a totally different model. I was looking at a 3.2MP 8x zoom one.

my dad has an olympus...the batteries in that thing last forever. Took it to a car show one day, 250+ pictures and was still going strong after.

Takes good pictures too.

My Canon is great also. 4 AA batteries (as opposed to the 2 that many have) do that
