Default National Anthem

I forgot to tell you guys this when it happened. Was at the track for I think street wars. Before the time trails start they play the star spangled banner. After it was over the MC'* came over and said "And for all of you who didn't stand up the Al-Qaida meeting is across the street" I love the drag racing community.

Very nice, it is very aggravating when people are to lazy to stand up or remove their hat during the anthem. It is the NATIONAL anthem for a reason, and if you want to live in our nation, you should at least pay the appropriate respect. That'* my humble opinion anyways.

Fixed the title for ya.

I was at a Demo Derby at the Fair this past summer, the MC asked everyone to stand for the anthem, right at the end, he said "Everyone that has served, or is serving now, please sit down, for you have already stood up for your country"!

That was pretty cool!

Since I'm serving I love standing for the Anthem, or saluting the flag...all of that. When I go to the track and see people not standing or removing hats it really pisses me off. Of course, I don't get mad at people who have a really hard time moving. Once I saw a former Marine start yelling at these punk kids who neither stood NOR removed their hats. That was really funny.

I guess showing your support is far to much work. What a lazy nation we live in.
