Probably right.
I just can't see leaving the most winningest team to go to the least. :?
Not a big Stewart fan, so it'* okay with me, just doesn't make sense.

Brian,
Makes huge sense... would you be happy remaining the #2 Chevrolet Team or would you want to be the #1 Toyota Team? and besides Toyota has done well this year wins in the busch series and running pretty good the second half of the cup season. They need a better team and they have bought that with JGR.

Yeah, big fish in small pond type of thing.
Still don't see them being as competitive for a few years.
Of course, I'll be the first to admit I could be wrong.
Be interesting to see what next year brings.

Both have contracts through 2009. Both are set to attend the team'* press conference later this week announcing the [supposed] move to Toyota and their contact extensions could be announced there.(Roanoke Times)(9-4-2007)

Cool. We'll have to see what the week brings.
Surprised no announcements over the weekend.
Still waiting to hear for sure about Jr'* new number too.
Heard a rumor of the 38, then heard no.

Yeah, my bro-in-law said he thinks it will be 81.
He also said Jr doesn't want a 3 on his car.
I did hear that the 38 was offered to Hendrick'* though.
I like the 38 idea myself, but we'll see.

Well, it'* official. Maybe Toyota will get a few wins next year. Still don't think it'* a good move myself, could be wrong. I think they have no chance at a championship for a couple of years, but we'll see.
