Default my wife is going to hang me and my daughter out to dry..

so i was in walmart shopping for some last minute easter deal'* on egg coloring and decorations as my daughter loves desinging her own eggs every year. so i go to the CLEARANCE section of walmart like always to see if i could get any good deals.
so right away i see the last/only one of a cannon all in one photo printer with 4.5'' pop up screen tpo view images. it was $149.99 marked down to $99.99 wow what a deal and i was so tempted to buy it just because i dont have a photo printer and my wife would love one.. so im looking at it checking it out and my daughter lets out such a scream and says DAD you really have to come look at this deal.. ( mind you she is only going to be 5 yrs in july ) she picks up and shows me a dual CO2 powered paintball gun with all accessories included. so then i say bring it hear lt daddy see it.. so i check it out and it was marked $49.99 and there was no clearance price on it and there were only 2 left so i took the 2 of them and put them in my cart and went to have them priced. i get to the checkout and have the lady ring up all my stuff then last i ask her to give me a price on these paintball guns. and she scans it and says

( $17.86 cents sir )

i took and paid for both of them and put back the all in one printer :?

when i got home me and my daughter shot up the back yardtrying to hit empty soda bottles and boxes.. and WOW holy $h!t these damn guns send paitballs flying over 2 blocks distance

so now my backyard and my garage and the side of my house is covered in bright neon yellow and even brighter neon orange paint all over

im laughing now because its going to hurt when my wife comes home... :(

if anybody needs me i'll be in the garage and my daughter in the basement.

I don't have kids of my own but I'd think paintball guns are a bit much... but then again my dad was teaching me how to shoot .22 rifles when I was about that age. I'm not telling you how to do your job but make sure there is some kind of eye protection and she doesn't shoot at people (at least not yet... buwhahahah!).

...also teach her to clean up her messes when she'* done. I know that paintball goop is supposed to wash off but I've seen it leave splotches on paint before so hosing it off after a shooting session would probably be a good idea.

But for $20 each thats still a really good deal

Yeah, I am going to have to say you are dead meat. And I too question a 5 year old playing with a paintball gun :?

PDad would be finding himself a new place to sleep......namely with the dog for about a month!

well yes 5 yrs is still young but she had on her bike helmet and my welding mask with full face plate.. and i was taught how to disasemble and shoot guns at the age of 5.. by the age of 7 i was hunting.. but if anyone is over cautious its me so i ask you'* not to worry my daughter is alays safe but im not too sure about those in her path.

and besides i was holding the paintball gun helping her aim while she pulled the trigger and shot it... its not the kind of toy i would just load up and hand her and say here go play with the neighbor'* dog. i understand your concerns but it was so much fun on our end...
