Jet is a good band. Sort of some old style mixed in but they are sweet. Do you like Incubus? Their newest CD is pretty sweet. I am also a HUGE fan of AC/DC, but thats just me

Thankies!! You have no idea how long it took me to find that CD ("Rush of Blood to the Head"). I wanted it for the song "God Put a Smile Upon your Face"...it'* an awesome song. So far I have listened to most of it and I love it. It'* more umm...like real music then mainstream is right now.

For more music like that, check out:

Thursday
Taking Back Sunday
Fenix TX
Coheed and Cambria (as suggested by others)
The Distillers (a bit different, you'll love or hate her vocals)
Brand New
Alkaline Trio (really good)
Social Code

Not my main music interest, but some good bands nonetheless.

Check out this top 30 list from the local rock radio station. Lots of good material that you might like that probably isn't getting too much play in the US.
