Well, if your son is into that kind of thing, it'* his decision since he is an adult. I would sort of like to get a tattoo one my arm or a little one on my shoulder blade. I would like a cool looking cross on my shoulder blade. Or maybe even on my upper arm, above my bicep. I don't think that I will ever get a piercing, just not my style.
I would like something like this on my upper arm:
Like two- three inches tall, that would be pretty cool. It means power.

i just have my ears done and I know that im probably just gonna keep it at that lol I dont think I could ever do anymore... lol A tattoo... has been in the talking...llol I just dont know if I really wanna do it just yet.....lol

And as for the freak gene: my mom, big sister, little sister, and I all have tattoos. (that'* everyone except my dad, who died a couple of years back)

I started on the piercings first...lol I have 8 as of right now...just waiting on getting more....

Needles scare me...big time, so any more piercings (I just have my ears done) is pretty much not happening. Tats are out of the question. Plus I change my mind so much that I couldn't decide on one thing that I wanted on me forever. With that said, I did design one for a girl that turned out awesome...on paper, she hasn't gotten it yet (probably won't).

See I hate needles too but I REALLY want a tattoo...and piercings are fun....It'* weird but that little bit of pain you get from it is sorta satisfying...haha

I pierced my eyebrow last year.. I had a long stud in it, that looked like it was going to poke my eye out. But, it was cool at the time. If I were going to do it again, I would get it professionally done, because it got a little swolen afterwards [cleaning didn't do much, I guess]. I'd do it again, though.
