Your mom is definetly in good standing with some guys upstairs.. Just looking at the floor bowing up like that, shows how much energy was in the impact..

I myself just lost a friend a few months ago to the same situation, only difference was the truck had a trailer.

Glad to hear your mom made it out of that!
My mom was in a head-on with a guy that fell asleep and crossed the line. She got banged up and broke her femur; still has a rod in it to this day. It was quite the experience to go through, especially since I was ~12yrs old at the time. I hope your mom'* recovery goes well. Hang tough!!

Wow. Praise God your mom survived. I'm sure it will be a tough recovery, but be assured of all our prayers.

Situations like this remind us that live is precious and short. We should live everyday like it were our last... and don't sweat the small stuff.

jeeze.. im really glad your mom is okay(relatively speaking), this must be really hard for everyone, good luck getting through this all, car accidents are never easy
