Thank you all. She is doing ok shes finally getting some rest because they put her on a high morphine dose with oxycodone so thats been helping her pain alot. I have been spending a bit of time up there with her along with lots of realitives comming in from different states to visit. Again thank you all.

Seeing the car, I can hardly imagine that not being fatal. Glad to know she made it out okay. Well, relative to being dead, at least. Best wishes for the recovery!

Just goes to show that bigger is better though. The guy in the truck virtually walked away. Imagine if the car had been a little Corolla or something...

oh my lord. thats unbelievable. I am amazed to hear that anyone lived in that accident. I saw a Honda accord after a 60 60 head on and it barely existed, its a good thing she was driving a good size intrigue. thats outstanding. her and your family will be in our prayers.

thats one heckuva impact ! my mom was also in a head on collision with a drunk driver years ago. broken ankle and her kneecap broken into 5 pieces were her worst injuries. not nearly as bad as this. but like the doctor said , she has a lot of trouble with her knee and ankle now that she is 75 . hope yer mom heals up well. it takes quite awhile with those types of severe injuries. :(
