I meshed that one to. I also painted the bowtie black and put the mesh over the top of that.

(these numbers are generous) Add a hot cam and a low-cfm carb, and (we'll assume) a matching exhuast system (headers and such) and you would be doing well to get 50 hp. Add the 5000 lb+ weight of the truck, and there'* no way 12'* are possible, even assuming the typically crappy truck rear-end was upgraded/replaced.
I don't have any times for the 66. It hasn't ran since I got it.

It is not a 1981 305, it is a 1979 305 from a Caprice. It does have headers and high flow exhaust. And it does not wieght 5000 lbs, it is stripped.

found this info on the net

disp carb HP Torque C/R
305 2bbl Roch 130@3200 245@2000 8.4
350 4bbl Roch 170@3800 270@2400 8.2

not trying to knock ya or anything but
i dont think these are headers

I agree with TWM here, enough of the bickering and nit picking already
Tired of it.

I'm not nitpicking, I'm just calling BS on information that doesn't ring true, same as you would if someone came on with claims of a 12 second Bonne with just intake and exhaust.

As far as the headers, that is an older pic of the motor. The rest are last night. It does have headers.
