Default My Latest Project

Here is what I have spent a few days working on when I had some free time. A couple guys in the chatroom got me started in the right direction. It'* been a goal of mine for a while, just never had the time or resources to complete it. But it is done now.
Step 1- Acquire a keg:

Steps 2-99: Build the grill (not pictured)
Step 3: Have the most badass grill around:

Step 4: Christen it with a hot dog. Invite your bros over and have a cookout.

Step 5: Enjoy

The rundown: Anheuser-Busch keg. Legs machined for 3/4" stainless steel stock, tapered at one end, drilled and tapped and threaded at the other. Hinges, handle. Temperature gauge really works, off a real grill. Runs on charcoal that sits on a couple old hibachi grates I had. Food is on a grill grate I cut down to fit. Lemme know if you like it.

Haha we've got a full size weber propane, this is just for tailgates/camping and showing off.

Food cooked with charcoal makes me sick to my stomach. But that is a nice looking grill you've made for yourself.
