how hot did yo uget it?... i know that stuff takes lie 800*+


when i ran my engine for the first time with that stuff there was smoke pouring off them...did you have the same thing with them in the oven? didi the fire department show up?

Curing instructions are on the can. I learned from my first application a couple years ago.

I did 200 degrees for 30 minutes, then bumped it to 300 for another 30, then 450 for another 30. Kept the rate of smoking to a minimum that my range hood fan could keep up with.

They'll probably smoke a little when I crank it up again, but not much. I want to keep this to a mininum, as I'll be starting the car in the garage for the first time, and would prefer to have it idle there for checking it over.
