I just drove down to the Chicago area today and I agreed to an apartment lease in Elmhurst, IL starting in January for when I start my full time job in Chicago. Two bedrooms (I'll be single and living alone) and a garage. The garage has a storage locker and I'm in the middle bay sharing with 2 others. I've got about 2" on either side of the mirrors at the door, but she fits!! I'm soooo glad to get a garage, AND an extra bedroom/workshop I'm excited if you cant tell!

Yeah, I can basically open up the doors all the way. Either way though, 100x better than a parking lot out in the open.

Looks good, I love my garage but I just wish it had more space... but I know what you mean with clearance...i worry about my mirrors lol
