was parked on a city street near my apartment. Also there is quite a few towing companies in Toronto.

Ah yes, I would imagine Toronto has a few tow trucks (sorry didn't see that). On a city street with no license plates, Rosco is probably right... your local police station should have some record of it being hooked. Sorry dude.
