The movers keep delaying their arrival to pick my stuff up. Now they arent coming until tomorrow (Sunday). They said their trucks got caught up in the Alabama tornadoes and cant get out :( I hope they are all ok down there.

Well I made it to California. Car ran beautiful. No problems whatsoever. I paid 2.70 for gas (super unleaded) in Winnemucca NV and places before that were even cheaper. But I got to Reno and paid 3.30 and its even more expensive here in Yreka :(
I saw some very pretty country along the way, especially in Colorado and Utah on I-70. Eastern Utah reminded me of the surface of mars. I loved it!! I'll try to get some pics loaded once I get my computer back together sometime next week.

Welcome to California! Gas prices are high, but the state is beautiful and there'* a lot to do. I occasionally get up to the Mt. Lassen area. Lake Almanor would be a nice place to have a Bonnevillclub mini meet!

Bugsi, I drove up through the Lassen National forest (Rte 44 I believe) and it was very pretty that way. There was still quite a bit of snow there as well. All the lakes and reseviors were all frozen over. Once we got closer to I-5 the temp got warmer and I got more excited. It was over 70 deg here today.

Willwren, I'll try to get up your way seomtime this summer...maybe for the Bonneville meet.
