Don't be embarrased. When it comes to your heart., always err on the side of caution. I too have had mild symptoms like you described and went to get checked out too. Answer was stress. Solution was don't stress. That will be 90 bucks please

I do take aspirin a few times a week for back and leg pain anyways, so I am doing what I can. Sounds like you are pretty healthy already.

My brother went to the hospital a couple years back because of chest pains, and not even close to the pain you described having. He ended up with a bill for $2000 because he did not have insurance at the time. Granted, we have a family history of heart disease (bypass surgeries for 2 great uncles, 2 uncles. My dad "lucked out" and didn't need bypass surgery). He usually gets paranoid about the smallest things. But in his case due to family history, it was not a bad idea to get it checked.

I'm glad you're ok!

If I had two hearts like I have two kidneys you could have one of mine if you needed it... keep up on it until you get it figured out you can't fix it yourself like you can a cold.

ya gotta eat right also..Stay away from McDonalds, Wendy'*, BK and all that junk. I haven't been to McDonalds in 6 years....Eat fiber...whole grains, drink WATER, not soda, or pop (Depending on where you live). Get back to your fighting weight...quit smoking, drinking (heavily)...
I am 42 went to the doctor because I haven't been there in 18 years and wanted to see what it looked like and he said you are fine, come back in 5 years...

Glad it was only stress....as they say, Don't sweat the small stuff, because it'* all small stuff.

don't ever apologize for being safe when it comes to your health! if you have to err its better to be kicking yourself over it being nothing than not doing anything at all and it turns out to be serious. then all you can do is think "i might want to get on that sooner...IN MY NEXT LIFE!"
