I've never caught one that big, but I caught a few beasts (4 foot is my personal record). Once they get that big, they're really not edible anymore. Not much to do but enjoy the fight, snap a pic if you can, and brag your *** off!!

WOW! I was expecting a channel cat but that friggin catfish is huge. The record is 2.7 meters... so close!
