Same here, but I wouldnt call it BS. An ex-marine friend of mine was stationed on the Nassau and caught a 450lb Tuna on rod and reel off the back of the boat.

If you know what you're doing (not claiming I do), you can pull fish in on just about any test. I've seen people pull in close some moster Sturgeon, Northerns, and Muskie on 8 to 10 pound test. It'* just a matter of finesse....
