Does anyone know how you should solve this math problem? The question marks are the numbers you have to find the value to.. I'm totally stumped and someone asked me to help them out and I have no clue. lol

1,921*417=801,057

and you figured that out how?

You weren't suppose to ask that
Just by looking it was easy to see the last digit of the first number would be 1. That got us down to needing 2 digits or 99 possibilites. I got stuck there and just made a spread sheet that multiplied 1001 - 1999 x 417 and looked for the answer. In other words - I cheated.

You just set it up like a normal multipication problem

Then you know that top right ? has to be a 1 to make ???57 then keeping goin you know:

Then that secnod ? from the top right has to be a 2 the make the 4+1=5 in the answer:

So, we know 7x47, so we get 1?21, and then 1x210

So, 10-4-2=4, then we have 7447, that makes 1921,
