Come to think of it, I BET that my friend totally misunderstood what the guy was telling him. If he'* making $350 out of every $1,000, that'* probably per $1,000 OF THE PROFIT. Not the total cost of the car like my friend thinks/says. So, Lets say the dealer made $7,000 off my CTS. 35% of that would be $2,450, which the salesman took home.. That'* a lot more believable IMO.

Think of the price the dealer would have to buy a car for in order to make any money off of it...
