I just watched the guided tour on the apple website. its pretty amazing. one thing that I thought was funny is how they advertise that you can install software using a PC optical drive, remotely. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates becoming friends again?

Its on the apple website believe it or not, Look for BootCamp, it will allow you to run both the Mac OS and Windows. It partitions the Hardrive, which means it splits the space, you can choose the amount of pace to give to either OS. At start up you choose which OS to run, or you can set a default to automatically run one of the two. Boot Camp is free.
If you want both OS at the same time another Program called Parallels allows you to run both Operating Systems at the same time. Parallels has a hefty price tag, i forgot how much it is but its too much for me.
That thing looks sweet, looks as thin as a literal notebook (100 page)

when i see someone walking around with a mac, i think "another mindless tool to the marketing puppetmasters of america. they probably drink overpriced coffee from starbucks and drive an SUV, never carpool, and constantly talk on their brand new phone roughly the size of their iPod shuffle nestled very carefully under their fingernail"*
not "there goes someone with style and class"
*this is what i think when i see someone with a mac -- but keep in mind, i also think "someone needs to clothesline that kid" when i see someone wearing heelies
