When they say competitor do they mean Snap On?
Always when paring with a company do your own homework & investigate closely.
If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.
I wonder if they contacted any other independent Mac tool folks first?

Wow! Never heard of Mac having a bad reputation like that until now. We have no Mac dealers in this area whatsoever, it'* all Snap On or Matco. We had a Mac distributor when I first got in the trade 8 years ago, only have one Mac tool in my box, and that'* a 3/8" hex socket that I bought to do Cavalier/Sunfire brakes when I first started.

Feel really bad for the affected families, hopefully a settlement will be made.
