Snow Leopard was a major under-the-hood overhaul with few new features. That and Apple wanting everyone who could upgrade to do so is why it'* only $29. (In comparison, Leopard and its 300+ new features was $129.)

Yes, I do use Time Machine. It'* already saved my bacon a couple times, and much faster than my old method of cloning my hard drive every week.

Well, I know it was all under the hood, but it'* amazing how much faster it is, without faster processors, or anything else. What hard drive do you use? We're probably gonna get a Seagate.
