The Luck Has Returned
Before I go any further, Happy belated Mother'* Day to all of our wonderful mothers, I hope you had as good a day as I did.
Like the title said the luck is returning to the PontiacFamily. It is not like we have won the lottery or anything like that, but we have been winning a few things. First off, it was the "carnival" at Andrew'* school on Friday, which is like just some little games, and prizes. They also had a paperback raffle which PDad and I entered, and we scored!!!! PDad won a signed album from Blue Rodeo (awesome Canadian band) along with a t-shirt, I won the LiveEarth CD/DVD and 2 concert DVDs, Andrea Bocelli and Tony Bennet. I am going to give the Tony Bennet to my mom, and I LOVE Andrea Bocelli. Jessica won 2 cakes at the cake walk, her and her friends ate one and she brought the other one home.
Then yesterday my lovely family took me to the local greenhouse here and bought me some hanging baskets, and I entered my name in a Mother'* Day draw and I WON!!! A beautiful hanging basket, we have to bring the baskets in at night, because it is still too cold to have them outside, but it is beautiful. And to top things off, I didn't get called into work
That is a good thing.
