Could be it. FI helps a bit at higher elevations but it still slows down just not as much as NA. Jeez 6700, what did they run, high 15s? Its almost pointless to have a track that high. You can't get a realistic perspective of what your car will run.

LT4 kit is pretty sexy for an LT1.

not sure on the price. i knew alot about those engines when i was readin up on doing the swap into my 86 bird.

id do a head cam swap, headers and exhaust, and CAI before rockers

6700 feet???? Holly cow.... That and the fact that he is a stick can make all the difference, I have seen some people who are pretty bad at driving a stick....
