Anyone else read this rumor? A 400+ HP LS6 v8? I haven't been able to find any hard evidence that it will be an option but there are quite a few mentions of it on the web if you search for it.

I know that the LS1 is 350 @ 5200 RPM and 365-lb ft of torque @ 4000 RPM.

6 speed automatic (or 4-speed auto)
0-60 in less than 6 sec. (Doesn't give an exact number)

Yup, found all that info but I have seen posts on other boards and on personal sites that suggest an option of the LS6 instead of a LS1.

What I want to know is if this rumor is true. Is this suppose to be a 2-door Prix? A Grand Prix club member told me that it was. I told him "How can you possibly put a GTO in a Grand Prix catagory"? The car is in a league of its own. Thats what I thought. MAybe it is now but from the past those two cars looked different.

I haven't read that one yet.
