How about waiting 6-8 months for a 2005 STS to come along with a handful of rounds for $40'ish? N* V8 RWD with a 5spd auto. 
I'd hit it. And if you've got the patience and the money wait another 6 months for the STS-V packing the SC'ed N* with right around 400hp.
