Saw it tonight, amazing, epic story, visually stunning, glints of humour, battle sequences that were just jaw dropping...
A visual masterpiece, Tolkien should be happy with Jacksons work on these films.
I'll wait for the trilogy to come out on DVD
He'* not a fan of LOTR. Maybe he likes Star Trek?

I haven't seen any of the LOTR movies. Never saw the first and then missed the rest of them. Some time I'll get the DVD'*. I know they must be pretty good films.

Like I was sayin to Peterman earlier, I am a huge Trek fan, never followed Middle Earth fantasy stories, but I can appreciate a visual masterpiece such as LOTR

The visuals are crazy man
I found after the last battle,the end dragged on a little when every had to say the goodbye'* ,other than that LOTR was well worth my 12 bucks.I bet the the dvd set is going to be extravagent and prolly cost like 150$ to 200$ cnd smackaroos(I'll still get it
