I watched Lost once during hte first season and saw an episode where the thing that eventually ripped the pilot out of the cockpit was wandering close to the survivors. I thought "oh, great.
Another dinosaur-filled island ala Jurassic Park.". I figured that was a tired old thread and dismissed watching any further. Kim & I have since renewed interest and over the past few weeks have rented season 1 & 2 and are partly through season 3. We're hooked now.Micheal needs his a$$ kicked, and Habib...er...Sayid is just the guy to do it. LOL
I missed the first few episodes of the first season, and they almost lost me as a viewer with the episodes after the hatch explosion...but, I watch it every week.
Now - where'* Walt, and how did Jin die? Was Jin a member of the O-6? What about Ben? How did he get off the island? Even more questions...

the panda bear story was a flash back.
and it appears that Sun is one of the O-6
so that would be
Jack
Kate
Siyid
Hurley
Sun
they also showed Ben but he wasnt on the plane
so Im thinking one more.

That date on the tombstone is the date of the plane crash. The part with the Panda was a flashback to when Jin was working for her dad, and hers was a flash forward. Jin promised that he would do everything in his power to protect her and the baby...so, it'* possible he died on the island during a fight with Locke'* group, or in some other way. Or, maybe to protect her later, with someone working for her dad.

If you think about it, the creators had to get Walt off the show - he'* 3 years older than when the show started. How long were the Oceanics allegedly on the island? A boy that age grows like a weed. Unless, of course, he'* Gary Coleman. But they couldn't have hired him - we viewers can only take so much "Whatchew talkin' 'bout, Locke?", "Whatchew talkin' 'bout, Hurley?", "Whatchew talkin' 'bout, Kate?", "Whatchew talkin' 'bout, Ben?"...see, you're getting pissed already.
I think Jin was one of the Oceanic 6, since they said you will know ALL 6 by the end of episode 7. Now, we can assume that Ben Linus isn't included in that 6 (not on oceanic), neither is any of the others. So we're left with Hurley, Jack, Kate, Sayid, Sun, and blank. Since Jin is buried off the island, I'm going to make the assumption that he was one of the Oceanic 6. Also, take into account his previous employer. It'* not at all unlikely he could have been killed off or something to that effect. I'm really confused (and incredibly sad), and I keep trying to think of ways that Jin would still be alive. :( Well, I'll see next week.
