I'm not a fan of the SSR... Nope nope. But I do, however, LOVE standard transmissions! I learned on an '89 one ton dually Chevy truck! But that was a one-time thing. I re-learned and perfected it on a '96 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 12 valve Cummins and a 5-speed. I also had to learn starting out on hills, which sucked until I got it down! At least once a day I had to start out on a 30-ish percent grade, in four wheel drive, wheel cranked!

Good job on learning the standard though! Killing it isn't all that bad, just embarrassing!
