This isn't terribly exciting, but it'* all I got:

I was living in a very small town in NY, in a house that was 200+ years old. It was an extremely creepy house, and on the edge of a forest. it had an old barn and everything. I really wish I'd been older so I could remember it better.

My grandmother had come to visit at the time, and my parents were both out. I was little, llike about five. I was sleeping downstairs on the sofa-bed. There was a really big thunderstorm that night, and a crash of lightning awakened me. (I think the power might have been out) After the thunder went away, I very distrinctly heard a man'* voice say my name, and tell me to go back to sleep. All the rest of the night, I had dreams about a man in a top hat, and he was talking to me.

I never did figure out what it was all about, or where the voice came from.

Freaky I would be hauling *** out of there if a ghost was calling my name.

Not really a ghost story, but I have this undeniable feeling of being watched....

You know that uncomfortable "someone is watchin" its very disconcerting...similar to that feeling when you are sleeping and you know someone is looking at you...ugh...creepy

When my mom was a teenager, she had a good friend who'* dad was in a wheelchair. He died and they got rid of all the stuff that he needed to get around, including the wheelchair. My mom goes to spend the night at her house one night, and her friend and her mom tell her this: Since her father died, she would be awakened at night to hear his voice calling her name. When she opened her eyes she would see him sitting next to her bed for a split second. Her mom confirmed the story, saying it happened to her. So they get an idea. That night they dust the carpets with flour. It happens again that night, and, when they get up the next morning, they find wheelchair trails in the flour all through the house. They had gotten rid of the wheelchair long before this, and there was none in the house...
