A little Insight
I watched the CNN report on this amazing woman last night, and Amanda is just that AMAZING!!
I work with autistic children, two of which are "high functioning" which means they have language skills, and other "positive" behaviours. And there are other days that I work with a child who is very much like Amanda, but is he is also deaf/blind, cannot eat, just learned to walk, and he has no language skills, yet he is very vocal on most days.
