It does alright in the snow. I have been stuck once or twice in it, but was able to rock it out. Today was expectped to get between 4-8 inches. We got the low end and ended up with around 4ish. Actually it has already started to melt.

Nope, I did not undercoat with Por15 or a product like that. The underside has a lot of plastic covers on everything. I removed all of those and sprayed oil on the metal under body. This VW'* body panels are made from galvanized steel which is not supposed to rust as easily.

Yep, we got about the same too Justin. Of course, on the way home tonight, rounding a gentle curve here in town, I smack a curb with the right front wheel and the rear wheel bounces off too. Destroyed the rim. And of course! The spare tire is pretty much permanently attached to the car because that plastic spindle nut is now frozen. Heck with it. The rim is destroyed, but I can milk her a couple more blocks back home so I can get some serious tools out to remove the spare from the trunk. AND!!! Of course, my S10 is sitting in the driveway awaiting intake gasket job to be done. Sigh...what'* next?
