There were some very strong storms including tornadoes in a huge front line across central and southern, mid west, heading towards the coast now I believe.

sustained winds 20 to 30 here and gusts to 55 and snow. and not supposed to stop till saturday

alot of water around here too but thankfully the previous owner built my garage with a elevated floor compared to the surrounding grade and a drain

As long as I have lived here I have gotten water in my garage.

i saw a semi jackknifed just like that this morning at 7am. plows hadnt gotten out yet i guess. it was a loong drive to chicago. luckily, it was on the 65 onto 94 ramp right before it hits 94, and i had gotten on 94 that day to start off. lucky me!

That semi was on a straight away. Possibly changing lanes, with speed/ ice sure does not help.

I think that was around Benton harbor and St.Joseph that area had maybe 4" when I was driving through the storm. There is a chance for more snow. The lake effect off Lake Michigan is in full force right now.

I'm jealous of all you snow state people. It never snows in southern california for some reason >:O
