For the record, that'* illegal while driving in all 50 states. Any animation of a 'vehicle status' light is a no-no. Scrolling LED 3rd brake lights have been around for awhile, and every time they come out, they die a quick death as the tickets are issued.

We have alot of people here in Indiana that have those. Infact, my soon to be father in law has had one for about a year without any issues. Yes they are illegal, but here in Indiana there are only a few cops that will bug you about those and neon license plate covers.

Ahh, yes. Those things are total police magnets here in Ohio. Our city made it clear to the ricers here that they will be pulled over and fined for having them.

he is so 100% correct about this.. i actually got 2 tickets within a month for having
(blue led valve stem lights) on my car tires.. both officers for both tickets said because of the flashing blue lights i can be arrested for (impersonating and officer of the law)

i took them off and stomped them to lil peieces at the cops request or i would have been locked up besides being ticketed...

so i would not put any lights on my car unless its a flashing orange light incase im ever stuck on the road somewhere
