Default front license plate cover questions...

hey y'all! i'm gonna be in a car show my other car orginization im in is putting on around here. im gonna dust off the ole front license plate cover(its illegal to have on around here). actually, i had it in my trunk and it got scratched up, im refinishing it. i was wanting some opinions. on my fireturd, i painted in the "PONTIAC" on the rear bumper, it looked pretty good. I was wondering if i should do the same on this cover. I was thinking of painting the letters the same Bright Silver that i just painted the grille inserts. I have cleared corners now, i guess im going for the white/silver look. would that look alright or be the ghey? also, what fasteners would i use to attach said panel to the bumper? im guessing plastic pushpins, but i dont know what size.
thanks,

I like the idea of painting the letters, but you would have to use a dark grey for it to be noticeable. I belive you can get decals in any color you want, that would fit. Some one will ship in with the answer soon.

i was putting on the clear coat and it flipped over and landed on the newspaper. so now i have news paper text imprinted in the clear coat. so now i need to wait till its dry and then sand it down some.
edit: does anybody know what fastener i need to attach it when its done?
