I hate Pinto'*

I had a buddy who had a Pinto and he dropped in a 351C into it. That Pinto was a force to be reckoned with....it was wickedly scary to ride in!

With its weight and gearing, even the 2.3L coupled with 15 inch tires made for a swift little Pony. I had fun with mine as a kid. I was always breaking things though. With adapter plates and 15" Mickey Thompsons on it, I couldn't figure out why? hehehe.

After the gas tank explosions, I did always keep looking in the rear view mirror.

I see those at the track every now and then. Fast cars. Just don't get rear ended.

I think the best use for a Pinto is a drag car, same with a Vega. Light weight, short wheelbase. Two words.....Wheelie Machine

My first car was a 71 Vega, it was a blast. I wouldn't mind finding another ro "play" with.
