Going to the Vet on Wednesday. I'll let you know how she does.

There doesn't seem to be any discharge or smell (other than she has smelly gas on occasion...but then don't we all?). No spots left on the couch or anything. I just hope it'* nothing serious......She'* an important member of the family loved by us all!

<fingers crossed>

maybe stupid, but is she drinking enough water?

Also, like someone else mentioned, maybe she'* in pain when she tries to go? I know when I was a little kid and i hurt myself I'd run around until the pain went away. maybe that'* what she'* doing too.

Anal gland issues are usually preceded with some sort of butt scooting on the floor or licking of the rear end. I think a lot of your signs are pointing towards either an injury or some arthritis in the lower spine.
