Default Health Insurance!!

As of two weeks ago my dad no longer has to pay for health insurance because the whole family is now covored. However, I will be covored if and only if I am a ful time student. This is not possible because I have to wait until next fall to start the program of studies for my degree. I can take a couple of credits this spring that transfer, but it will not total 12 credits. To take more credits would just be waisting my money because they have nothing to do with my degree. My dad said I would have to pay $500 a MONTH!!!! for health insurance. What a bounch of crooks, eh? So what do I do? Try to lie to the crooks and tell them I am taking 12 credits. Or, not have health insurance period. Or, get asecond job that has benifits. I need you're imput on how to handle these effin crooks please.

Before a job that covered me i had bluecrossbluesheild for 30 a month. It was just like hazard insurance. It covered me with a 2500$ deductible. That was okay for me. Would be a decent solution if you just need a filler

You can get a short-term health policy which is meant for people in your situation or people in between jobs temporarily. You can be covered for a month up to 12 months and if you don't use it you can renew it once in some companies. I would recommend that option. Lying is never a wise choice. Good luck!

Get Minnesotacare (I believe that'* what it'* called -check with a local health office and they'll tell you). My sister with Bipolar, and my younger brother and his wife have MinnesotaCare and it is only like $25-30 a month for each of them. I believe their coverage is even better than most blue collar workers are getting through work too.
