Just Wondering...About Deaf members
Wow, I didn't know that about you. I bet you lip read some pretty interesting conversations of others. I remember the episode on Seinfeld where George had Jerry'* date read a former girlfriends lips at a party. I think it was Marlee Matlin if I remember correctly.
It'* cool that you aren't one of those people that feel sorry for themselves and lead a bitter life. You are enjoying yourself and doing all the things you want to do. I actually have a newfound respect for you.

Thank you.
I actually have some friends like that. Talk about a party pooper
I kinda stopped talking to him. He refused to accept and be proud. I have tried for a long time to get him to understand that their'* nothing wrong with being deaf. So I gave up, he'* on his own now.
I don't look at deafness as a handicap, I just look at as a part of my life and it is what makes me who I am. I'm proud of that.

You really don't need to pity me, because I have never heard sounds so I don't really miss anything. Plus as Oats said, I have a SE anyway
I think it is awesome that someone with that kind of disability is so outgoing. I do have a few questions though.
I heard that a deaf person hears a slight ringing noise all of the time. Is this true?
Does being deaf affect you driving or anything? Like, if your motor messes up, how would you know (I guess that'* why you have a Bonneville, they never mess up)? Or, like if someone honks there horn at you or something?
