okay, so i was prompted to download a new itunes update, so i download and install it, and then, when i go to play a song, it loads and then says itunes has encountered a problem and must close, i already uninstalled it and downloaded it again to no prevail, any ideas? help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks.

does it say what the problem is? what kind of file are you trying to play?

sometime uninstalling it and reinstalling it wont do you have to completely clean it out of the registry.....
