My Kenwood I put in my truck came with one.
It'* still in it'* little plastic cover sitting in the glovebox. Everytime I come upon it, I go WTF? Why in the world would you need this. The buttons and lettering are so small it'* useless while driving.

I had a car stereo salesman try to sell me a new deck and emphasized the remote control as the reason I should by an incredibly expensive system. I looked at him and said, "Your kidding right? The friggin deck is within finger reach. Why would I want a deck with a remote?". I don't think anyone ever challenged him on that...he was dumbstruck and lost for words. Needless to say...I moved on and went to another store that had sane and qualified salespersons!

Besides, I have controls on the steering wheel. I had a remote many years ago. After the stereo was stolen from my car. I still had the remote.

Let me explain. My stereo was stolen but they didn't take my remote, so he asked did it have a seek button. You know, so it would find my stereo.
