Default iPhone virus: Only a matter of time

http://www.dbtechno.com/phones/2008/...-trojan-virus/

Boston (dbTechno) - The Apple iPhone has been hit with its first Trojan as the report was revealed from an iPhone dedicated web site called Modmyifone.com.
The Trojan was confirmed to be real by the research company F-Secure. The Trojan which has hit the iPhone scene targets users who have modded their iPhone to install third-party applications.
The application calls itself an update to Erica’* Utilities and is called “113 prep.”
When the application is uninstalled the Trojan goes to work as it removes files from the /bin director on the iPhone. This breaks any valid applications you may have on the iPhone.
The host of the Trojan was taken offline after it was discovered.
F-Secure stated “Hopefully this serves as a warning for those who have opened their iPhones using a security hole in the system and then installing unverified software without a second thought to what they are doing.”
They stated an 11-year-old kid just playing around with XML created the Trojan for the iPhone. Could this be the start of viruses on the beloved iPhone? We will have to wait and see.

I thought every computer geek ever loves Mac, as they are the posterboys for the anti-Microsoft movement?

How dare they attack the iphone :?

I didn't realize that, and you'd figure geek geeks would be able to stop any potential virus...
