i may be wrong, but i notice the intercooler under the hood. says it is used as an intake. nowhere do i see mention of boostage. doesnt in intercooler with no boost, but under the hood <not being cooled by anything> kinda jam up the works a bit? unless that motor is boosted stock. can anybody explain that for me?

yes, it currently an interheater. It is only causing a restriction in air flow due to the extra added friction of the intercooler. Also since it is sitting in the engine bay it is likely heating the air.
