just wait till they blow the trans in like 20K
I hate Chrysler'* trannies more than anyone here. I told myself i'd never buy a Chrysler again. So, if I ever get a 300C SRT-8 i'll debadge it and call it Mercedes, cause it really is more Mercedes than Chrysler. Oh, and these trannies won't blow because they ARE Mercedes trannies. Even Chrysler knows thier trans can't handle this kind of power.
Well actually, pre 98 Chryslers blew Trannies, 98 and above blew tranny sensors. I work at a Chrysler dealership, and the only trannies that come in are the old ones (pre 9. I have hardly seen any new Chryslers come in for Tranny problems. GM has just as many troubles with thier trannies, just no one say anything about it. Every car company has equal things go wrong. Every GM vehicle I have owned has had electrical or lighting trouble somewhere. I never had a problem with either of my Chryslers as far repairs go. This Bonneville has something new to fix every month, thats why its getting traded in come spring............Anyways, the tranny in the 300C SRT-8 you don't hae to worry about, it is the Mercedes-Benz 5-Speed auto with the AMG "Speedshift" technology. I love em and they are a blast to drive, so are the Charger SRT-8s we have here at the dealership. I think some of you guys would change your mind after you drove one. Later!

Thats why I want my 2003ish 300M Special still. I'm not convinced they are bad cars.

They aren't, they are great cars. Two people at my work have them right now and have not had any trouble at all and love em. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I could right now, but college exspenses are putting a hold on it.
