That is by far the stupidest thing I have ever seen.. I guess they never thought about the what ifs... Like " what if I loose control of this car " ....

WOW is all I have to say about this... this is very very sad.
I have been to several burn out competitions and displays and have not once seen a full out dragster do a burn out at such an event. I have how ever been to drag races and have seen thousands of passes. To me IMO it looked more like a attempted pass with out the proper preparation to the race car.
then why would he have done this ?

The AMS Pro Modified Series later issued a news release saying the driver was a veteran of more than 20 years in drag racing
Selmer, TN is about 15 - 20 minutes from my house. I haven't heard yet if anyone I know or insure was there. This is a major annual event and it is very sad that this has happened.
