My basement got wired up. My uncle cables for a living, so he helped wire up our basement. We ran all the cable to the back room in the basement which goes in to a really nice patch panel, then to a D-Link 24 port switch, to the D-Link router, and finally to the cable modem. It'* a mess right now cause I don't have any 3 foot cables, but once those are ordered, it will look really sweet. Eventually we will do the rest of the house. This was a test, and it turned out really well.




Who wants to come to a LAN party? There'* plenty of ports to go around!
