Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

I'm sorry but this is too funny not to share.

D*mn right, even the ACR couldn't take the L27 on a dragstrip, but a base neon could easily take an SSEi on an autoX course. Just designed for different roles.
Now, throw a GXP against an SRT-4, and things get interesting...

The SRT will beat you everywhere but the launch.

A properly driven SRT may even beat your launch. They are a little difficult to launch because of the tendency to wheel hop. But once you get it in gear and gather traction, it scoots pretty well. I don't think any Bonneville here could beat an SRT4 on an auto cross, and you gotta dip into the mid-high 13'* to beat one in a straight line any longer than about an 1/8th mile.

Of course it would be fun.

If he thinks that his peon is fast, put him in a ecotec cavalier, he would probably ***^ himself.
Don't be hatin'!!! I know, its a compliment and a bash at the same time.

No bash there, plus your Ecotec cavy may be faster than my 3.1 Cavy.
