Of course, just take your copy of the MO and call the number on the back or take it to where you bought it and let them check. They get cashed like a regular check so someone would need to have presented ID at a minimum or even had to deposit it into their account for a few days.

Hate to here crap like this cause us remote guys kinda need e-bay for a lot of off the wall city stuff you just cant seem to find when your in the city.

I sometimes get things sent to my folks in Arizona to bring back to Canada to save on the duty and expiditing fee'*. Usually not a problem but there has been a few exceptions where we both cancelled the auction do to mistrust.

And the only time I ever got bit on ebay was with a money order like Haro'* and i wouldnt send another so I got 1 bad rating.

I tried to sell it one last time, and got the same damn scam.
I even put right in the auction "I WILL NOT SHIP TO NIGERIA, so don't even try that scam with me" and i guess the idiots don't read, because i got pretty much word for word the same e-mail as the first.

And what sucks the most is that i really need the money from it, ebay was really my only option to sell it, but it looks like now i wont be able to sell it

I've heard good thigs about craigslist (but have no firsthand experience), have you considered trying that?

if you have it set up to where they have to have atleast so many feedback. must be in the USA will not ship outside the USA "no if ands or butt" and they still do it, make your auction preaproved... they have to email you and you let them bid on your item... but put in there that some jacka$$ from BFE keeps tryin to screw ya over..

haro. on a money order theres a little receipt thingie thats atached to it.. take that number and search to see if it has been cashed.. theres even a place online somewhere that you can check it.. unsure where but check that out.. if you find out it has been cashed and he is still buggin ya, he can get his account deleted for that...
